Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Identify and describe new technologies that can be used in ASD
  • Describe the technological innovations in education with some basic skills checklists in Excel tables
  • Define teaching priorities with the Informal Pedagogical Assessment
  • Identify the specific educational needs of people with ASD and the ways in which new technologies can be used to meet them
  • Discover technological innovations for children with ASD with a view to supervision
  • Discover technological innovations for children with ASD with a view to learning (play-based learning)
  • Understand the role of social robots in addressing the needs of children with ASD
